Jaime Gibson is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner with a private practice in Campbell River BC. She has experience and training in working with a wide range of clients including children and youth.
Expressive play therapy methods are integrated into her work with children and she uses a trauma informed approach with all her clients.
Currently, Jaime is registered as a service provider for the following organizations:
Crime Victims Assistance Program
Kwakiutl District Council Health
Nuu-chah-nulth Tribal Council Mental Health Program (for off-reserve and IRS clients).
First Nations Health Authority
In addition, she has done contract work for Autism funding, homeschooling companies, and the Ministry of Children and Family Development.
